“These statistics released by Sacramento PD are a disheartening reminder that more work is needed to combat the senseless and tragic gun violence that has plagued our communities. I’m committed to continuing the work necessary to analyze our current policies to ensure those who violate the law are held accountable for their actions and that our law enforcement partners are provided with the resources needed to keep our neighborhoods safe.”
